ABOUT KRISTA BLONDIN
Born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, singer Krista Blondin has performed live on stage for over 20 years.
Known for being highly versatile and adaptable, Krista sings a variety of musical styles including high energy rock/dance and R&B classics and easy listening, pop and jazz favourites.
Together with her own self-titled band, and as a freelance singer, Krista has entertained extensively at weddings, festivals, private residences, theatres, schools, retirement living facilities, country clubs, concert halls, pubs, hotels, fine dining restaurants and travelled as far as San Francisco for corporate events.
She’s entertained for multiple corporate clients including CBC, Johnson and Johnson, IAPA, Trillium Health Partners, United Way, Adamson & Associates, and BBDO, and sang for audiences into the thousands at The Canadian National Exhibition and The Port Credit Southside Shuffle.
Along with establishing herself as a professional band leader and provider of live music, she is also recognized as a successful tribute artist to the legendary Janis Joplin. Her ability to transform into the role of Janis Joplin has led to awards and nominations in Florida and Las Vegas honouring the industries best celebrity impressionists.
Over the years, Krista has produced various theme bands and tribute shows, showcasing the music from Broadway and the big screen and Canadian women in music.
Blondin’s love for singing, performing and connecting with her audience is highly evident every time she hits the stage, creating an energy that that makes people, sing, dance, reminisce, and feel part of something special.
